Time to Vote!
It’s time to select next year’s board so we can begin our planning and budgeting process.
We typically have a live meeting so you can meet and ask questions of our candidates. Given our current state, we’ll need to vote online. Please get to know the candidates for next year’s PTO board by viewing their biographies.
Please submit your vote via this survey by next Friday, May 1.
Remember, if you have a student enrolled at BLES that means you’re a PTO member and you have a vote.
We are still in need of two Vice Presidents. (You can write in yourself or a nomination for someone else in the survey. We can follow up with a separate vote if we find new candidates for Vice President.)

Founded in 2018, the BLES PTO is a non-profit organization that exists for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, including the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The organization will remain noncommercial, nonsectarian and nonpartisan.
Our purpose is to:
- Enhance the educational environment at Berkeley Lake Elementary through volunteer and financial resources.
- Promote communication between the school administration, staff, parents and students.
- Foster pride in Berkeley Lake Elementary throughout the community.

What does the board do? It governs the 501(c)(3) organization that helps to enhance the educational environment at BLES. It provides parent feedback to the school administration and staff and manages over 20 events and fundraisers each year and all of the volunteers it takes to make that successful.
